In many respect, teachers are the most vital element in the CPR program. In addition to the usual task of effectively delivering curriculum material, CPR teachers must establish the kind of rapport which truly "reaches" young people. This ability to connect to teenagers emotional and thought processes has made CPR relevant to thousands of young people.
In addition to making a difference in lives, the CPR program provides trained
teachers an opportunity to practice classroom skills and add to their professional
credentials.
In the metropolitan Indianapolis program, the CPR teaching position is paid
and provides a meaningful part-time income opportunity. (Potential teachers
in other parts of the U.S. should contact the nearest Associate for details.)
